Is the free plan really free?
Yes. One ledger with unlimited transactions - including multi-currency conversion, offline tracking, sharing, budgets, insights, voice entry, and CSV import. No time limit, no transaction cap, no credit card required.
What does Pro cost?
Expense Hunter Pro is available as a weekly or annual auto-renewing subscription. Current prices for your country are shown in the app before you subscribe, and billing is handled by Apple through your App Store account.
What happens to my data if I cancel Pro?
Nothing you entered is ever lost. Your data stays safe and fully usable within the free plan's limits - you keep unlimited transactions in one owned ledger, and you can still access ledgers others share with you.
Do ledgers that others share with me count against my limit?
No. The free plan's one-ledger limit applies only to ledgers you own. You can join any number of ledgers shared with you.
Is there a free trial for Pro?
No - and that's deliberate. The free plan is a complete tracker with no time pressure, so you can use Expense Hunter for as long as you like and upgrade only if you need multiple ledgers or the AI features.
How do the AI features work?
AI categorization and AI-assisted CSV import are Pro features that run server-side, and only with your explicit consent. You always review suggestions before they're applied - the AI never changes your data on its own.
Pro subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings.
